Update midweek right behind a double update? The hell? I was sifting through Distros and it occurred to me that...wow, a bunch of these sites are dead! So I removed those and added a few new ones. Also updated the FAQ (still tweaking it).

OK! So, I added some new sub-divisions in 'Communities', as well as new links, to make it a little less...chaotic. I'll be adding a section for physical stores sometime within the next week but it will be restricted to independent stores which carry independent goods/music/what-have-you. New links in 'Distros', 'Goods', 'Communities', 'Art', 'Films', 'Zines', 'Design', 'Events', 'Record Labels', and 'Musicians'. Who loves ya, baby?

Due to the hurricane everything's rather fallen behind. The IDP will now be updated every Sunday. Cleaned up some things, added a few new links in 'Productions', 'Record Labels', 'Goods', 'Events', 'Art', and 'Musicians'.

Well, I've been remiss, haven't I? But I'm back and the site's going to be getting its own URL and it's going to be switching to more of a Google type site. You'll still be able to submit links and pull up a 'complete list' (ex: a complete list of Resources). The message board beta will also be going up and I...well, I'll finally be able to have a life again. Despite this, because I've been bad, I've added a bunch of links in "Activism", "Zines", "Goods", and "Resources". I love you kittens.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Computer crashed. No updates for at least another week anyway as I'm completely revising and redoing the IDP. Check back in about another week and half for a new (easier to use)layout, new look, and best of all, new links!

Holy giant updates Batman! The comics section is full of pretty new links. Sorry this one is a little late. I've been a bit sick lately. Every link now has a description, and all links are alphabetised. I removed a bunch of dead links and defunct sites. A few links were moved around to their appropriate sections (there were some 'resources' in the 'fun', and some 'zines' in the 'communities'. Also added a few new links to 'zines'.

Ok, I've been at this for almost twelve hours. Here's what I've got. Updates in "Indie Goods", "Design", "Writers...", "Fun", "Resources...", "Film...", "Distros...", and "Bands..." Re-organised the links to your left(still tweaking that). Also added people to the contributors section and tweaked the FAQ. I'll be completely revamping the "FAQ" and "About" sections in a few days. Monday I'm going to go through, alphabetise everything, add descriptions for everything, and maybe add a few new links. I'm also going to start highlighting the very new links (once I have my plethora of old ones up) and add a 'staff picks' sort of deal. To all the contributors: Thanks bunches! All your links will be up soon (some already are!).
So that's what you kids have to look forward too.

Renamed "DIY, Crafts, and Makers of Fine Goods" to "Indie Goods", put the craft tutorials and free patterns under "Resources and Tutorials" which was renamed from "Resources, Tutorials, and Class Information". Added a slew of links to "Indie Goods", a few to "Awards", and a couple to "Resources and Tutorials". As always, more links to come. Updates will now be Monday and Friday.

Hi, again kids. More links(I promised didn't I?...Pretend I did)! Again in "Bands, Solo Artists, and Recording Labels". You may have noticed that some of those descriptions don't actually tell you what kind of music the band plays. That's because I have no clue (aside from having no sound on this PC) some of the sites just don't say. I'll probably be revisiting those sites when I have more time to harass the bands ("Dude...so your music...would you say it's rock or polka or...?"). Until then if anyone else can figure it out, drop me a line idp@sevensirens.com. Roughly thirty more links for this section.
